Procreate gouache brushes together with gouache texture & paper included in this kit, produce a realistic effect. Let’s be honest, gouache & acrylic are similar materials, so this kit can be considered to be acrylic as well.
Gouache studio is a Procreate file with organized layers of gouache texture & paper background. It is designed in such a way that your Procreate illustrations look like real gouache.
You don’t need to customize anything, everything is already done. Just open the file in your Procreate app & start painting with 6 brushes included. You don’t need dozens of brushes to achieve a realistic gouache effect. My customers have already appreciated that a small number of brushes helps to focus on the painting instead of on the continuous change of the brushes.

INCLUDED IN THIS KIT:
6 brushes (the file ending in .brushset). Two brushes from the set have 2 versions: flat & round, so all in all 8 brushes will be installed
1 layered Procreate file – 4000x3000px, 300 DPI (the file ending in .procreate)
“How to use” JPEG image (instructions on how to use the kit)
PAINTING:
Paint in the “Gouache Studio” file on a Painting Layer & add more layers if you need, just keep your painting layers between “Paper” & “Gouache Texture” layers.
INSTALLATION:
✅ Make sure your iOS is updated & you have the latest version of Procreate App – Procreate 5 & higher.
❗️Procreate Pocket doesn’t have the feature available in Procreate 5, so you can install brushes, & 5 brushes will work correctly. But Dry brush will behave in a different way, not as shown on the video.
