Tired of always having to import images into Procreate for textures, I decided to create my own. Here’s a collection of 9 repeatable hi-res textures created to simulate various papers & walls. Designed to be seamless, these brushes can give your illustrations a natural look. Stack them, distress them, or blend them together to create unique looks.

BONUS I’ve added a wheat paste stamp texture along with a poster shape to create poster art.

The Brushes Below is a quick summary of each brush included in the set:

Cold Press — Designed to simulate the detailed texture of cold press paper.

Water Color Paper — Designed to simulate watercolor paper.

Sketch Book Paper 1 — All the fibers & grain of recycled sketch paper

Sketch Book Paper 2 — Great for tan paper look & feel.

Sketch Book Paper 3 — This version has subtle fiber & grain.

Sketch Book Paper 4 — Extra fiber & grain.

Concrete Texture — Grime texture to simulate wall or concrete decay.

Clean Bricks — Clean repeating brick texture.

Dirty Bricks — Brick texture with extra grime.

BONUS Wheat Paste Texture — Stamp brush to create wheat paste texture.

BONUS Poster Shape Stamp — Stamp brush to create Poster paper shape, perfect to add wheat paste texture on.

PRO-TIPS:

Duplicate texture overlays to intensify the effect.

Load textures on an eraser for unique distressing

Duplicate an existing texture, invert the color to white, & apply a SCREEN blending mode to create a highlight effect on dark art.
