Allust is an italic font that is inspired by italic version some old-style serif typefaces like Caslon & Garamond, & an evolution of my poor understanding of italic letterform. The first draw of this font is started back in 2016 & the idea was to make an upright italic font inspired by italic calligraphy. Perfectionism kept me away from finishing this font. Each year, I tried to rebuild the font with better understanding of the letterform but still keeping some unique characteristics of my poor understanding back then, but never satisfied. & finally, this year I promised myself to just finish the goddamn font & embrace whatever it is going to looks like. & here it is. FINALLY!
