Introducing Dear Agatha, a single-line & hairline font duo! You get a fun cursive font with tons of alternates & extras, & an all-caps sans-serif for easy pairing.
Single-line & hairline fonts aren’t your ordinary fonts; they can’t be used for word processing, printing, or cutting. They’re meant for a sketch pen, foil quill, engraving tool, infusible ink pen, or any other stylus or nib that draws letters with a single line instead of an outline. Both fonts come in both a single-line version & a hairline version; different software programs will use different formats. Not sure which format you need? You can download & install both!
Dear Agatha is a connecting script font, with over 200 alternates, ligatures, & extras for variety! It also includes the full Basic Latin & Latin-1 character sets, so you have plenty of punctuation & a number of accented letters for language support. Dear Agatha Sans is a perfectly paired sans-serif, also with the full Basic Latin & Latin-1 sets!
Even though these are TTF files, all of the alternates are OpenType coded & PUA-encoded, for easy access in a ton of programs. You can even use these fonts in vector programs like Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW, Affinity Designer, Inkscape, & more! Just apply a stroke & not a fill, & you can make the font as heavy or light as you like, then expand the text to outlines!
I’ve included a couple of handy PDF documents as well. One has the alternates, ligatures, & extras right in it, so you can use it intsead of a secondary program like Font Book or Character Map to copy & paste. The other is a guide to single-line & hairline fonts (they’re two different things), which can help you use them in a variety of programs, & help you figure out which format will work best for you.
These fonts have been tested in Cricut Design Space, Silhouette Studio Designer Edition, Adobe Illustrator CC, Inkscape, CorelDRAW, Affinity Designer, & Rhinoceros 6.
Please ensure you’re familiar with single-line & hairline fonts before purchasing. & be sure to download the two PDF files; one is a guide to help with which font to select, & the other puts all of the 200+ alternates, ligatures, & extras at your fingertips!
(And yes, the fonts will look very strange in the previewer; one will be blocky & dark, & the other will look like it’s barely even there. That’s as expected!)
