Can I sell your illustrations “as is” as wall printables/digital prints ?
No, you are not allowed to sell my illustrations as wall printables or digital prints because I’m also offering them as ready-to-print raster files as part of my collection. That directly competes with my product & is highly prohibited under all licenses.
Can I use your illustrations to sell physical products such as framed art prints, t-shirts, tumbler, mugs, tote bags, etc. if I purchase a Commercial License?
Yes, but you cannot sell them “as is”. You need to make significant modifications to the illustration/design (ie. combine other elements or text, & create new compositions) before doing so.
Under the Creative Market Commercial License, you are allowed to create & sell physical goods using the licensed asset given the following terms: “Any ‘End Use’ for Commercial use must: (i) be significantly different than the original Licensed Asset, (ii) require time, effort, & skill to produce & (iii) not derive its primary value from the Licensed Asset itself.” This means that you can use the licensed illustrations as long as you make a significant modification & end product is not used or sold in a way that is directly competitive with the original item you purchased.
Does changing the color of the illustration/design & background count as significant modification?
No.
Can I use your illustrations “as is” for selling physical prints or any type of physical goods?
Using a licensed asset/illustration “as is” (ie. without making a significant modification or creating new compositions/derivative work out of it) for physical end product usage for financial gain is ONLY available for the Extended Commercial license.
Can I use your illustrations for selling physical goods on sites like Zazzle, Society6, Redbubble, Printify, Printful, TeeSpring, Gooten, DesignByHumans, Threadless, Spreadshirt & other print-on-demand or order-on-demand services?
No. This is strictly prohibited under all licenses.
