Description: Shibori Tie-Dye Collection Graphic
Hello! Please meet my new collection of Shibori tie-dye textures & patterns.
Shibori is a Japanese dyeing technique that typically involves tying or binding fabric & dyeing it in indigo.
To create this collection, I dyed a number of old t-shirts & other clothing using this traditional technique. I then scanned everything in small parts & combined them like a jigsaw puzzle in Photoshop. Then, to remove the mess of a texture that happened because of the puzzle, I blurred it out & worked long & hard on making all the textures look presentable by stamping & collaging the textures. After that, I picked some of the textures & created seamless patterns based on them. When all the work was done, I’ve added a new seamless texture on top so it wouldn’t look too blurry & low res. Please take a look at the previews & the full collection (link below) to see the end result. It took a good while to make it possible but I had a lot of fun working on this product. I hope you will like what I created!
This collection includes:
10 seamless patterns (10 JPG files & 1 PAT file) – 2500x2500px at 300dpi
15 tie-dye textures (15 JPG files) – 6000x4000px at 300dpi
